Logistics
Plain terms, written the way we would want them explained to us. Where something is uncertain — customs in particular — we say so instead of promising a date.

All orders leave from Jambi, Sumatra, Indonesia. Samples and small retail pre-orders usually go by air courier. Wholesale orders ship by air or sea freight depending on volume, destination and how quickly you need it — we quote both options where it makes a meaningful difference.
These are honest ranges, not guarantees. Harvest season, port congestion and customs inspection all move them. If a date matters to your business, tell us in the enquiry and we will tell you whether we can hold it.
Import duty, VAT/GST and any customs brokerage charges are the buyer's responsibility. Spices attract duty in most markets and rates vary widely. We declare the shipment accurately and truthfully — we will not under-declare value or mislabel goods, so please do not ask.
If your country requires a specific import permit, phytosanitary certificate or prior registration for spice imports, tell us before ordering. In some cases we can arrange documentation; in others we will tell you plainly that the lane is not workable for us yet.
Kraft pouches with an inner barrier layer, heat-sealed. Wholesale volumes ship in food-grade lined cartons or, for larger lots, in lined sacks on pallets. Every unit carries a lot code and a packing date.
Photograph the parcel before opening if the outer box is visibly damaged, then photograph the contents. Send both to hello@dejavu.web.id within 7 days of delivery. For retail pre-orders we replace or refund damaged goods. For wholesale we file a carrier claim and either replace the affected units or credit them — whichever you prefer.
Food products cannot be returned once opened, for obvious reasons. Unopened retail pouches can be returned within 14 days of delivery, with return freight paid by the buyer, provided the seal is intact. Because this is currently a pre-order model, most issues are resolved before shipping — which is exactly why we confirm everything by email first.
Wholesale lots are made to order and are not returnable once produced, except where the goods do not match the agreed specification. In that case we make it right.
There is no online checkout on this site yet. You send an enquiry, we confirm grade, quantity and freight, then we invoice. We will never ask for card details over chat or email.
Anything unclear, ask before you order: hello@dejavu.web.id.
